Treating for Ich, doing water changes. Every fish is taking the treatment fine except the yellow tang develops this large dark spot on the center of his body and starts acting stressed (breathing rapidly, swimming a little ackward). After I do a water change, the dark patch goes away, he looks normal and acts normal. Then by midnight or early morning hours, he gets the spot back and starts acting stressed again. I've been treating for Ich with chelated copper. I've been changing out water daily because I hear treatment can increase waste in the water as they get the slime buildup out of their gills and such.
Any ideas on why this dark patch shows up/he becomes stressed? The Cu levels are appropriate for the treatment and he is still eating. There is lots of flow and its a 35g long that he's in.
