Have to say those Burmese Gold Rings are fun to watch in a larger school of ~20! Doing well, loving brine shrimp and probably move them to some micro worms as well shortly. So far haven't seen much of my Bettas but never did in the past so I'll give it another week before I decide how they do as a dither fish. Almost wish I would have bought an extra 10 of them.

They will eat flake like its going out of style too. I can honestly say, they were not at all hard to feed! They are truly impressive in a nice large school as well. I am glad you opted for the number you did. I really feel you don't get the true feel for a schooling fish in quantity under 15-20

Rachel,
Are CPDs and Gold Ring similar in size, etc? The 16 CPDs I got from you are great and doing the "dance"....
quite often. They have calmed down and are swiming around (not hiding) most of the time. Trying to decide if a school of 20+ cardinals or Gold Ring would compliment the 125g setup with the CPDs.
Thoughts?

the gold rings are slightly larger and a little more "torpedo" shaped, but of a comparable size. It hink they would work well to bring the cpd's out of the bushes, so to speak.
