I would like to get a betta, but I don't want the everyday Petsmart betta. I would something little different, like deltas, plakats, etc. If you could post pictures of your bettas along with what type they are, it would help me a lot. Thanks.

Here's my halfmoon (HM). The pic doesn't show his tail fully flared into the halfmoon shape, but I really like the pic. I don't have the rest of my pics of him on the computer, so I'll have to remember to upload them when I can get the flash drive from home. I got him from coolbettas on UltimateBettas.com. Coolbettas lives in Menomonie, WI (the one near Eau Claire) if you are anywhere near there, and he allows local pickup or can ship to you.

Yep, since I picked him up and only wanted him (kia--coolbettas--usually sells m/f pairs for $30-35), I only paid $20. I think he asks $25 for shipping overnight, but I can't remember for sure. He might offer priority mail options for less as well. I saw his setup and many of his HM plakats, and they were so nice! He usually has a nice selection of HM plakats and standard HMs.
Here is "Mr. Finley". Unfortunately I have no clue what type of Betta he is, but didn't want to pass up the opportunity to show him off
