pretty cool finds? the last one looks like grass but was living fully submerged. ill see if it lives or not.
nope never have on any of the plants. i run them under tap water and throw them in. you cant sanitize the fish so why sanitize the plants? i have 3 blue gills in there from the same water and i used to have a striped bass but to much co2 killed him. very sensitive for such a strong fighter.

Better safe than sorry. and yes, you can sterilize fish/plants. you sterilize fish by QT and treatment of any illness that shows up. you sterilize plants by doing a bleach dip.

It's called quarantine, my friend. There could be disease that could spread from your sunfish tank to all the other tanks via the same net and all that.
i have diffrent nets for each tank and never cross contaminate between the tanks. thanks guys.
