My guppy is pregnant and she will be giving birth, soon i am assuming as she has been pregnant for a while.
What can i do to help the fry when they are born?
What can i do to the filter to prevent it from sucking up the fry?

put a pantyhose over the filter intake, and try to remove all fish but the female. Java moss is a great plant to help the fry survive, I highly reccomend that you get some.

I have personally never had a problem with the filter sucking up my fry. I have had tons of fry born and grow without doing anything special. I just let nature take its course and hope for the best. This procedure has led to only one problem....too many guppies! :eek:
