no, it's top closes up and over time they turn into small brownish jelly fish, i need to find out how to kill these things...

Get a couple peperment shrimp they might eat the aiptasia there kinda hit or miss , they ate mine anyway well the small ones they ate the larger ones i used a syringe with a needle and injected them in the base with lime juice , just use small amounts of lime juice and only kill few every other day , the lime juice maybe drop your PH if used to much

a species of glass anemone. peppermint shrimp should take care of them... just be sure to get peppermint shrimp, not camel shrimp.

Hmm no they dont turn into jellyfish they may detach and look something like a jelly fish

when they detach they are little brownish things, and their exumbrella move as if they are swimming
