Howdy,

I recently began stocking my 16 gal tank for what will soon be a nano-reef. My Stock List is as follows:

1 - Purple Pseudochromis
2 - Yellowtail Blue Damsel
1 - Engineer Goby
5 - Astrea Snails
8 - Blue Leg Hermit Crabs

The problem is that the dottyback/pseudochromis is very aggressive towards the other tank mates. Did I just get an aggrtessive individual, or would I be better to trade him for a pair of clowns or such?

Thanks,
-Jay:help:

I'm pretty sure that's the general temperament for those guys. I had one in my old smaller tank and he was a pretty agro fella...

devil fish! it will limit what you can add in the event somthing dies or get sbullied to death. i had a royal dottyback and traded it in because nothing would survive its relentless harassement. they do well in tanks with bigger tougher fish.
