I just got my plants pack from aquaspot (ebay seller). every thing seems to be perfect. I have bought Hemianthus callitrichoides "Cuba" (HC) from them just a little portion. No idea how to plant it I have a little plastic pot I was thinking of planting it in that and bury it in the sand.

Can some one share their experience with these plants.

it can be a bit tricky to plant but the way i planted was cut off as much of the wool as you can and split it up into 8-10 portions then push those portions into the sand and spread them out. Over time they will connect and form a nice carpet.

Some people leave a little a bit of the wool on while others remove it. I think the easiest way is to leave a little bit on and hold onto that with your tweezers and push it into the substrate.

look up dsm (dry start method)

if you can do that, it's definitely the best way!

yeah, HC is a terrestrial plant at heart, so it will love the dry start method(emersed), but if you have the right conditions it will spread quickly wet too. You should try to remove as much rock wool as possible, and split it up as suggested. USE TWEEZERS in one hand, insert it into the sand a bit and then use a finger from your other hand to keep it in place as you slowly remove the tweezers. works like a charm. HC is much easier to plant in sand.
