I stripped a female saulosi a bit too early so I figured I would document their development as they grow. Now these ARE hybrids. My male msobo bred with a female saulosi. Why am I keeping them? Practice and for some potentially nice looking females. I know this is very frown upon but they will stay in my possession. My male msobo won't touch his own females but is all over the female saulosi. I'll take what I can get.
Anyway these guys are roughly 14 days old. I didn't see the spawn but I saw the female holding around the 4th. I stripped them 3 days ago. At first I thought they wouldn't make it through the night since they were young but so far so good.
Day 14
They have obvious heads and tails and still have most of their egg sacks. They wiggle around on the bottom of the breeder box. No losses to date. I counted 19. I won't be feeding them until the eggsack is gone.
