A couple months ago, a friend gave me a little stinkpot that wasn't in very good shape, so I set him up in a spare 20L that I had.



I've got a little bit of pothos growing in the internal filter. He likes to nibble at it from time to time


His favorite hiding spot is under the driftwood in the middle

Nice little Musk! They're great, underrated turtles with a lot of character. I love both of mine.

Only about 5". This little guy is only about half of that so far
So far I've yet to come across a 5" Stinkpot. 4" is the norm around here. Now there are other species of Musk Turtles that get bigger. Species from the Staurotypus genus can get up 12"+ inches long.
