sunsun 302 question

I have a sunsun 302 fillter in my 30 gal. how far down or up should the intake tube be? Right now it's about 2" off the bottom. I have pebble stone bottom.

In my 29g it's about 2" from the substrate. In my 75g it's about 4". Both tanks have really clear water.

taysius, thanks from me too. Had same experience, looking all over for "sunsun" and just finding filter pads. Correct name does wonders it seems. :)
