Just wondering if that would be a good idea or not. There is a steady stream of tiny bubbles,(2 streams actually), going directly into the intake of my Aquaclear filter but I have no experience with this so not sure what to expect as far as levels and don't want to gas my fish overnight.

Well, no casualties overnight. I really think I have a bit too much surface disturbance from the penguin filter to allow much buildup. I will try some foam over the outflow ramp to smooth it out some.

I may have some fert questions later but I have to go back to work now. Thanks again.

Yes, I have played around with the water level. The AC that the co2 is on is fine, just sends a steady stream deep into the tank but the Penguin next to it sends a rippling wave all the way to the front glass. Maybe it's the bio-wheel. I might try taking that off or hanging a filter sock on the ramp.
