Rotala macrandra (hardest of them ALL)
All that come to mind right now, however there is a Foxtail that has a redish hue to it.

no for the 90g tank.
I have this right now : Ludwigia Repens
but the Ludwigia inclinata looks interesting.
I guess i can leave my light on more and starting using my co2 and dosing dry fertz.

Now that is a different story... I don't think you would get the red you're looking for out of the melon but the above plants I already listed will fill that red void.
Remember RED sometimes fades because of lighting and or fertz. Need to make sure you read each plants needs before diving into reds.
