I have a ten gallon tank stocked with endler's (no idea how many),
I currently have it planted with penny wort. I was curious if it is possible to add enough plants to no longer need a filter. I do two 50% water changes twice a week on it.
Sounds a bit like the Diana Walstad method. Google that once and see what you think. I haven't done enough research on it to advise you further, but if I'm not mistaken, with a low enough bio load and a high enough plant count.....could be.

i wouldnt not with the endlers. they will over populate the tank in no time unless you are doing males only. plants also do best with water movement as well.
