Has anyone ever used a 55 watt setup from AH Supply on a tank that is about 20 inches deep? I am looking to get a new light on my tank and was wonder what kind of light that will provide. I am not looking to go for pressurized CO. I just want a good plant light that will support low to moderate light plants.

I am kinda confused after reading this thread. http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/lighting/105774-par-vs-distance-t5-t12-pc.html

I just read about catalinaaqurium lights. Are they around the same quality? They seem a little cheaper and I don't need to make my own fixture. You can also buy the legs to rise up the light off your aquarium.

The owner of Catalina is a great guy. His fixtures are less expensive as you are dealing direct. If you want to customize a fixture, he'll work with you to do the job.
A number of planted tank customers want T5HO for 18" front to back tanks, but mounted in his widest hood so the bulbs are further apart than usual. No problem.

I was looking for a t5 N0 one bulb fixture with a good reflector. Does anyone know of one I can buy? The coralife t5 NO have really bad reflectors according to what I have read in the thread about par vs. distance.

If you are hanging the lights you could just get a single t5ho w/ a decent reflector off of ebay. They are really cheap. I have a few and I like them. Plus you can adjust intensity by raising or lowering the light.
