im thinking about possibly getting some fronts for my 125. but im not sure what kind of conditions they need. can i use pool filter sand or will they be happier with crushed coral? will they harass any plecos i decide to have in the tank? do all ids of them do best in the lower 70s or is there one that will be ok in the upper 70s?

Ditto to what Mr. Peacock saif.

8 fronts (2 males/6 females) in a 6-foot long 125 gallon tank should do well.

Temps should be: 78 to 80 for any front varient.

Either substrate will work. A small crushed coral that is rounded will be best. Larger crushed coral will cause problems when they spawn.

Hope that helps.
