I've got a colony of 19 in a 125g (a little small for my liking, the colony, not the tank)....... but the ratio is 2M/17F.

Fry #s have improved since removing 2 synodontis cats (4-5") leaving the Tropheus the only residents in the tank.

I can just see little white dots on their bodies :p that's all, maybe it's just me

Haydn24-I think the white dots are just sand and stuff in the tank that's stirred up from their movement. I get the same thing sometimes in my pictures. The spots don't really appear to be on the fish.

When I first read this, I was almost insulted.... PLEASE note that I said ALMOST........

NO, that is not ich on the fish........ it is merely sand in the water column that has been stirred up by all the shaking/quivering action associated with "doin' the deed".......

The fish are all in good health and happy !!!!!!
