I'm looking to add a pair of GBRs to my 36" 30 gallon long. Already in it is a juvie redtail shark (~1.5"), 3 leopard corys, a pair of dwarf gouramis, and 7 black phantom tetras... The shark chases the tetras around on occasion, but leaves everyone else alone so far.

A bit concerned about potential conflicts between the rams and the RTS, if I do get them. Tank has a number of hiding places and some plants. Has anyone kept both successfully in the same tank?

Never did it myself, but GBR's will get stressed if they are being harassed constantly. It just doesn't sound like a good combination. But i hope someone else will prove me wrong.

I have a 3" RTS in my 55g community tank. He does not bother the two rams at all. Like yours he enjoys chasing my skirted tetras on occassion.
