At present there is only a Coral Beauty and some snails in it. Is my skimmer the culprit and what should I do?:help:

Water quality is usually the bigger issue make sure you have the basics. SG apx 1.024 Alkalinity 7-12 dKH Phosphates undetectable Nitrates <5 ppm Other things that should be fine with regular WC's are Calcium and Strontium but if everything else is ok you should test Calc I had a bad batch of salt once where they forgot to add the Calc Suplement Ingredient to the mix.
