When I change the water in my tank the the angels fight with each other. Does anyone know why they do this?

I have 4 angels two pairs male and female.

Possibility of the water change kick starting the mating/breeding process. In the past with mine oftentimes a WC would get them going, happens with my albino cories as well. Might consider separating the pairs with another tank or divider and see what happens. Good luck.

I had an experience recently with one female and three male angel fish. Two of the males wound up killing each other over the one female. An extreme situation that I had never seen before.
