Are these the same fish. My LFS just recieved bushynose plecos and I've been looking for the bristlenose. If I get a breeding pair, would it be alright to feed my oscars some of the fry?

Yes bushy nose and bristlenose refer to the same thing. There are however many different pleco species that are reffered to as bushy nose. It is not one type of fish but any fish that grows the appropriate bristles. While you could feed them to your oscar I do not know why you would want to. They are very easy to raise and are worth a fairly good buck when you sell them. Also they would have to be very small fry as the oscar would likely not want them once they reached any size.
