Marineland Stealth recall update

Where do I take them for the recall?

I tried to take my 50w to Petsmart and they told me it wasn't part of the recall. Has that changed now?

for recall, just call marineland customer service. they should take care of you, i got a letter in the mail today, and they say that about 926,000 stealthes and 236,000 sealth pros. are being recalled. sucks to be them.......

The 50W wasn't part of the Petsmart original voluntary recall for Stealth Pro heaters a few months back.

This is a new recall, on every single model of Stealth and Stealth Pro heater, 25W and up, issued by United Pet Group (Marineland's parent corp).

I'd try Petsmart again just because it's quicker and easier, but if they won't take it, contact UPG directly at 800-338-4896 between 7:30AM - 5:30PM EST Monday - Friday and they will take care of it, though they don't mention how in the letter I received.

I have two stealth heaters left, must call....

well this stinks...

I had mine switched to Visi about 7 months a go, they are not affected by the recall

are all affected, or are the older ones okay.


im just wondering if they are recalling all for safety, or if the older ones were having problems too.
