Royal Pleco

Hi guys. Its been a while since iv been on here.

I have just bought a beautiful Royal Plec from my LFS. Like most good things, the purchase wasnt planned, however Im now worrying that it may require a bit more looking after than I originally planned.

If anyone has any useful information to share I would be grateful... or if you have any stories about your Royal Plec that you wouldnt mind sharing with me I'd be very happy to read.

It is a beautiful fish and hence when I saw it in the LFS I couldnt say no to those lovely big red eyes!!!!

The pictures below do it no justice whatsoever. I'll try and get a few more in soon.

The middle picture above is the Royal Plec I saw in the display tank at he LFS. The one above and below is my one. Its a lot bigger... about 10 inches in length.

Any suggestion for names
