First, although I wouldn't go so far as to call them cherry shrimp, they probably will be a lot cheaper in a few months.
Second, why do Americans always get stuck with garbage genetics and poor supply? When something is "new" here, stateside, we're expected to pay outrageous prices for crap Europe and Asia culled out of their tanks. Rilis I have seen available domestically are no exception. Weird, inconsistent patterning and splotchy red coloration where red is supposed to be. The longer you wait, the better your genetics are going to be.
I like Rili shrimp (the best ones overseas), but I will definitely wait on these.
