These discus are proven mates, in fact they have layed and hatched several batches before with success. I have sold some of my others so trying figure out why. They are healthy as usual and para's are good. Any ideas?

Have you tried dimming the lights and playing some Barry White?

Did you just pick up this pair, or have they bred for you in the past?
Have you changed anything recently that may be causing them stress?
food, surroundings, temperature, everything plays a role..

I've had this happen before. Try the usual things; varied nutritious foods high in protein to prime your female, large water change of slightly cooler temp (coincident with a low-pressure area moving through), separate the pair for a couple weeks, then reintroduce. Also, you can rearrange tank decor or add or subtract some, just so the pair recognize a difference.

Barry White? Don't have any of his music may have to try. :). These fish have mated before in the past and were successful. One pair, I think the male is not able to fertilize the eggs they have all turned white: they have layed, say 6 or 7 times the last few months. No luck.
