I'm planning on picking up a trio of rhinogobius wui this weekend, and was wondering what the best set-up for breeding them would be. I plan on using my 10g for the breeders, and using rubermaid's (the short ones with a big footprint) for fry grow-out.
1. What's the ideal temperature for breeding? (or do they not care?)
2. What food do I want to condition the parents on?
3. What food is best for the fry?
4. Do I want plants (java moss) and sponge filters in the fry grow-outs?
5. How do I separate fry from adults?
6. Bare bottom or pool filter sand for fry tanks?
7. How many fry should I expect?
8. Will it be ok to keep ghost shrimp in with the fry?
Thanks in advance, feel free to pass on any other advice too! I can't wait to get these guys!
