WTF is on my fish?!!
Ok turned my lights on this morning and my damsel has a hitchhiker attached to the distal end of his dorsal fin!
It is mainly clear with pink in the middle. Looks like it attached by two pincers... it is about 5mm in length.
My fish is swimming around as per normal and eating fine. This fish is also impossible to catch so if I should be worried, well Im going to be VERY worried
Not the best pics but the fish wont play nice and sit still...

Any light shed would be much appreciated!

There is a link to more info in the 7th or so post.

I've seen those on wild caught pipefish. I'm not sure what it is, but if it were me, I would do my best to trap the fish. You can google for devices that can easily be made out of empty 2 liter bottles or other fish traps. I'd get that thing off the fish and destroy it before it moves onto the body of the fish. Once it drops off that fish, it'll probably reattach to something else, and who knows what kind of diseases it could carry. Plus, it creeps me out.

Looks like a sea lice.
MarkWhat are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue. Robert Anson Heinlein

I think it is the evil black eyes that creep me out the most.
Pillbugs shouldn't have "eyes".
