I am going to use some PVC pipes to hold up my land portion in a paludarium and I was wondering if anyone had some good ideas on how to cover them so they are not ugly. Thanks!

Cover the pvc in silicone (aquarium safe, obviously), and roll it in gravel.

What about a top material. I plan to have a layer of gravel then soil then....? I need something that my little fire bellies can be on without sticking or eating.

What kind of moss/plant? How high would the water level need to be relative to the moss? I ask because I want a mostly dry area for when I feed them since the crickets seem to be really really good at drowning.
