When my husband was a kid he got a paper route. He got up before school and delivered papers. He saved up to about $4000 after a year or so. He was too young to drive so his dad took him.

I knew alot of kids that did paper routes. I tried 1 summer and I sucked at it. At the end of summer I quit and never did it again.

Yeah it's a crappy job but it's one you can get without having to be 16. Once my husband turned 16 he quite and got a real job.
