The cold water comes out of our tap at close to 80 degrees. So changing the water is pretty easy as I just turn it on and let the Python do its thing.

What temp is your "cold" water out of the tap?

WOW 80. Where do you live? Mine is 70-72 even in mid summer.

mine comes out cold, warmer than the refrigerator, but way colder than the tank, I'd guess about 45 degrees. Nice temp to drink it at though. I mix hot and cold to get the temp close, I usually go a little warmer though.

Mine comes out somewhere in the 60s. I mix hot and cold water to get the temp right and usually end up within 3 degrees.

Here in East Texas the water temp is running at 80 as well. Have been tempted to drop in some ice cubes during WC this summer.
