I am in the process of moving my planted 75g to a 125g. Current stock is:
30 cardinal tetras
2 bristlenose plecos
4 albino cory cats
2 loaches
countless RCS
countless MTS
125g will have 3 XP3's w/ pre-filters and pressurized CO2
I was thinking about adding some adult discus once things settle in, but I am not really interested in doing water changes every other day or every 3 days -- I would like to stick to my once a week WC schedule.. so my question is, if I were to way under-stock the tank - say maybe just get some more cardinals and then 5 or 6 discus, would they be ok? Or would they still need the more frequent water changes regardless of filtration/stock?
