Consider the "inconvenience" for rehoming a large fish.

People would much rather buy a cheaper fish at a smaller size because then they can actually raise it themselves. Just because a single business lists it for X dollars doesn't mean that is the market price.

*sigh*

This isn't a game. List them for whatever price you want and if you get them for more than what they are realistically worth then good for you.

From the looks of your tank conditions and what you've already posted I don't think you are really in a position to try and make the most money out of your fish. Try finding them good homes, not a home who has an owner with a big wallet.

I've seen them for as low as $10 in stores locally.

Fish, especially common fish, prices can be very variable. They are basically worth whatever people are willing to pay.
Also keep in mind you are talking about a fish that can have health issues even if kept correctly (which it often isn't). People arn't necessarily going to pay top dollar for a rehome.

edit: You may want to try Monster Fish Keepers if you really want to try to get the most. You'll find more people there with the tanks to keep them in. They even have an Arowana forum.
