Hi everyone! If you've been following my threads, you'd see that I have a pair of very shy German Blue Rams. Well, they're a lot less shy now! One especially comes up and waits near the glass when I walk up to the tank, waiting for food. This is the one I have a question about.

I think this one is a female, as her stomach area is a rosy color. The thing is, I thought I saw her 'flashing' which is usually a bad sign, but on closer examination, she appears to be pushing the sand around her making a bowl type of 'nest' or something.

Is this normal? It kinda looks like this one vid I found on YouTube at 1:05-1:07.

I just want to make sure it's nothing that I have to worry about. There's no visible signs of anything bad, just want to make sure the little gal isn't trying to tell me something. Please help!! :D

Yes, it's normal and is part of the spawning/brood raising process.

Hmm, I'm wondering if he/she is looking for a mate then. Thanks!
