I'm sorry about all that rain, Rachel! Our basement floor got wet, but not flooded, thankfully. The sun is finally out here. Hopefully all your tanks will be okay.

the tanks are fine. Catfish spawning all over the place. Its just the photographs and collectibles, hubby's grandfathers naval memorabilia....most of it ws in plastic bins but unfortuantely not all the bins ended up being water tight

Hi Rachel - I'm sorry to hear of your troubles. We have had heavy flooding in our area as well, and a 12 year-old boy in my county was swept by the rising currents and drowned. I'm sure this has been absolutely devastating and I'm regretful to hear of the ruined photos, memorabilia, and collectibles; I am relieved and grateful to hear that you and your family are safe from any harm that could have resulted from this terrible, terrible weather. I predicted this in January, but it appears 2011 is a year filled with great adversity and dark happenings. Homeland Security has issued a warning for a possible terrorist attack this weekend -- I hope none of us will have to deal with that, but just wanted to warn you in case you have not heard. I want you to know that you and your family, and those affected by the floodings, are in my thoughts and prayers. Stay warm, dry, and be safe. Have a great weekend.
