I have a 40 gallon breeder sitting in my basement. What would you do with it? I like the idea of something unique. Maybe even trying to breed something? Or a biotype of some kind? What would you do with this blank slate?

ca/sa wetpet of your choice that stays below 10 inches, or an african tank. or a mix species tank of smaller ca/sa?

Shrimp tank, with small schooling tetra that is shrimp safe.

Edit-Moderately planted as well.

I had the same issue with a 29g tank. I was thinking of a Palludarium but decided to go Saltwater!
