Hey Everyone,

I started another thread about stocking a 40G breeder and it kind of morphed into this.

After livebearers and convicts what would you consider the next step in breeding? I would like to use this tank to try to breed something. Ideally I guess it would be something in demand so that I would be able to get rid of the fry.

Suggestions? Thanks,

Matt

Bristlenose plecos or Angelfish would be the best options. Difficulty is slightly higher than livebearers or convicts but not much more so and there is always a good market for them.

The difficulty for angels is you would need a separate tank to move the adults or fry into to raise them. Bristlenose you can keep them with the parents.

Plant spawning killies!!! You could divide tha tank and breed cories and killies at the same time....thats what I would do.
