Ok so I have found some conflicting info. I have some rocks in my aquarium. Some touch the back glass. Do I need to move them? The aquarium is 1/4 thick glass. Is there some danger of the glass breaking?

As long as they are secure, and don't move. It is fine.

Not really any risk of them breaking the glass as long as they don't shift. However, scratching could be a problem. I like to place a small square of cork in between the rock and the glass. Prevents scratching and keeps rocks from shifting so easily.
