now the Question is, are they fertilized........ considering momma con wont let dad near the eggs....
I'm pretty sure there was someone else on here who had their firemouth/convict pair breed and produce fertile eggs; they raised one of the spawns as well. they also saw the same behavior of the mother keeping the father away from the eggs, I think. one of them ended up killing the other eventually, I think it was the convict who got killed.
I do think the eggs would be white by now due to fungus, but i've never had egg-layers in my tanks breed, so I'm not a reliable source of info. Google it.
