looks like a common pleco to me...........it might be the greenish shade as its trying to match the substrate.........

it will get up to 18" and will need a tank 100G +.......what size tank do u have?

are there any bumps at all on its face? and a female BN, correct me if im wrong experts getting mine next week, would be full grown at five inches and would noticeable bristle by that time. So thefishboss is almost definitely correct with a common pleco.

Also besides the size and lack of bristles... BN plecos have a flatter head, yours have a very blocky head like a common pleco.

"In comparison with a typical pleco, a bristlenose is typically shorter (15 cm or less), more flattened and fatter with a comparatively wider head."

dang so i will be having to get it a bigger tank.(which im planning on doing anyway.) my pleco and knifefish and black moor wit=ll be moving to a 75 hex or 120 long whithin the next six months

deff go with a 120 long... 75 hex has very little floor room comparatively and you have your pleco and your knife fish.
