This is such a great pic! Makes me want to get an Oscar

EDIT- the closeup pic of the Oscar with his mouth open...post #18 in this thread...

I'm currently cycling my new 75 gallon and plan to have a SA cichlid(s) as my centerpiece fish..... so this thread is great. Any other suggestions? I'm thinking a Severum plus large school of dithers.........
150 gallon Freshwater - 1 x 8" Gold Severum, 12 Black Skirts Tetras, 6 Giant Danios, 1 lone Platy and a Bristlenose Pleco...ready to add more!
    (Fluval FX5 + Eheim 2217 + 2 heaters)

I personally think a school of 6 Geophagus sp. Redhead Tapajos would be a perfect addition plus you can add other community fish. There are a variety of fish that don't get huge and work well in a community setup you just have to do some research and be patient. Good luck!

+++++111111 really beautiful ive seen one of these done with rams and flag cichlids and a bunch of tetras.
it's the time for us to shine.
