got it as a halfback gar i dont think its even a gar but more like one of those south american predator Charkins or something like that if any one could give me 100% sure ID that be great but here he is very skittish so hard to photo

i want to fill the bottom with rocks and have maby some fire mouths or something to inhabit the rocks. he is a beast though just ate 3 guppies love watching him hunt them.

That doesn't look like any "gar" I've seen. The lower jaw appears longer than the upper and the tail fin looks all wrong.
