Ok, gtting money in a couple of weeks hopefully and I have narrowed my choices down yet again.
Option 1: Shellies (multies or gold occies)
Option 2: SA/CA biotope based around GBR, Bolivians or some species of Apistogramma
Option 3: Something else? Your ideas?

Wow, quick reply. Yeah I like them but I equally like the idea of a nice planted tank with a pair of dwarf cichlids and a school of a tetra species.

I guess you will have to go out and get a 10g and a few multies now ;)

Meh, I caved and I'm buying eco complete and a light soon for a planted tank with some cardinals or neons and a pair of; a) Cockatoo Apisto, b)GBR or c) Bolivians
