I was given a 12 gal Nanocube. The person used it as a Nano Reef. I don't want to deal with a small saltwater tank since things can go wrong real fast with those if not kept up constantly. Does anyone have a Nano/Bio cube that they're using as a freshwater tank? If so, how do you have it set up? No set budget so the sky is the limit.

Never used this tank before but I would just throughly clean the tank to remove any traces of the salt or any of the nasties that come with it. Then make it heavily planted (as always) and do a nice community with a pair of dwarf cichlids.
