so i was gonna go look at petsmart for some replkacement fish, but i went to the goodwill on my way and found this bad boy for 5$, it was really dusty, well i cleaned it with warm water and tested to see if it held h20, seems to do the job perfectly, its glass btw, im guessing an older tank here. so what should i do/house in it? opinions?

Hexes are tough, man I love my 5g, especially when I can finally put my betta in it. But stocking is hard. I would just go for another betta honestly. You could get a really cool looking male, like my double fin. Otherwise, you need something that prefers going up and down rather than side to side. (man, I just realized how wrong that sounds)

Small fish that don't school, such as cherry barbs or sparkling gouramis, would work best. Or a betta, or a shrimp only tank...just get something inactive fish wise, or stick with inverts who like to roam all over the place, because they have very little room as far as going back and forth!
