So my green severums finally had some fry last night, my question is what should i do with them I have a 106 gallon tank.
Here is a list or my fish
3 red neck severums 1 6" 2 2"
6 gold severums 2 4" and 4 1"
4 green severums 1 6" and 1 5" (this is the pair that had the fry) 2 2"
4 clown loces 2"
1 royal pleco 4"
1 clown pleco 2"

Does any one think that the fry can survive with all those fish in the tank?
at least couple of them ?

Please let me know what I should do

Thanks,

I doubt they will survive with those loaches and the other severums in there, even with the protection of the parents. I have never bred severums before so I can't offer any advice on what to do with them.

Selling is probably the best option unless you can come up with a 40 gallon or something close to that very soon...about how many fry do you have?

+1 to what Ritap said. 40 will probably ensure the survival of most of the fry but a 29 will give you the healthiest of the fry.

Severum fry are slow-growing buggers, it would take months for them to get large enough to move along. Set up another tank, let these go and wait for the next spawn. The pair will do it again, and most likely keep going for some time before they take a break, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to save some fry after you're ready to raise them.

Short term, get them into a breeder net or setup another small tank. You can use a 5g or 10g tank to grow them just big enough so they're no longer FOOD, then they can go back in your main tank.
