I bought a few beautiful Microctenopoma ansorgii a few months ago. For the first week, they had great colors and were pretty scrappy. Now the ctenopomas became brown and fat and are not as territorial. I bought a nice male recently from a more recent import and he is also becoming less territorial, colorful and is getting fat. My original group is in a 37 gallon aquarium with a mormyrid. I feed the tank 5 days a week and normally feed bloodworms, brine shrimp or blackworms. I'd feed less, but the mormyrid needs to eat much more frequently.

Is it normal for these guys to start to lose color and aggression?
