Just switched over my 55 to a planted set up, switched gravel for flourite and got a handful of plants from my buddy that he didnt have room for any more. For a light I built a new wooden housing, pretty similar to what comes with a stock hood; and wired 4 cfls in it (currently 26 watt bulbs...may be excessive!) Really tryin to do this on a budget and not spend a lot of money so Im lookin for suggestions on co2...maybe no co2 and stay really low tech and take some light away...Diy co2? Dont really know a whole lot lol
