Bigger Royals tend to be very pricey. In the pleco world I believe it's the Panaque's which grow the slowest. They are wood eaters which has very little nutrional value so it makes for slower growth. You could see if your local mom and pop stores have them or could get some if not you can try online. I believe John (Snookn21) has some but they carry a big price tag.

try posting an add on planetcatfish. there's a list of breeders for every cat, so you can probably find someone that'll give you a good price.
