is it possible to tell the sex of juveniles?
about < 1 inch ??
if not is there a way to choose , which will give me the higher chance of getting a male and a female??

Nope, no means of sexing the juveniles. They often don't show thier gender until they are 2-4 inches--some of my males didn't start getting serious bristles unti they were about 4 inches long.

Other than getting a large group, and removing those you don't want after their bristles come in, I'm not sure there is a method. Sorry.
