Darlingtonia generally are found in areas that are supplied with rather cool groundwater that runs over the plant's roots. They wont work well as a plant to just stick outside or in a terrarium.
VFTs from death cubes aren't in great conditions...but with plenty of care they can bounce back pretty well IME.

Hmmm was not aware they need the cool water running over there roots. Also I looked online and there is alot of varieties of VFT's. I saw at least a dozen different kinds. Also that VFT that my bro has is all up to him. If I buy the VFT's ill be getting them from online shops.
I want to eventually own all the different Thorichthys species known. 12 in total. Green I have. Red I Don't
T. meeki, T. pasionis, T. affinis, T. aureus 'Blue/Green', T. aureus 'Gold', T. helleri, T. socolofi, T. maculipinnis, T. callolepis, T. sp. coatzacoalcos (Mixteco) 'Green', T. sp. coatzacoalcos (Mixteco) 'Blue', T. sp. coatzacoalcos (Mixteco) 'Gold'

Unlike Sarracenia, VFT don't require cold stratification. They need bright light, close to full sun.
Darlingtonia are difficult, to say the least.My artwork;
